We hope to see early migrants such as sapsuckers, flickers and bluebirds. One way to prep for this walk is to watch: “Fish Creek: A Hidden Jewel.” https://youtu.be/q1j4LWB9XeI The first hour is an easy hike on a 1-mile paved trail on the picturesque bluff overlooking the Mississippi River. The second hour is a moderately difficult hike, following a rustic 1-mile trail along the creek itself.

DIRECTIONS     Meet at the Fish Creek Natural Area at the south end of Henry Lane in Maplewood. From Carver Ave, turn south on Henry Lane. Park in the designated area on Henry Lane.
