Carpenter Nature Center

June 18 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am

The American Kestrel

12805 St. Croix Trail S., Hastings, MN 55003

Sunday, June 18, 8-10 AM

Update – I made a scouting trip today (June 15) and located 25 species. The black flies are out, so wear long pants/shirts and bring bug spray.  Carpenter is a beautiful nature park on a bluff overlooking the St. Croix River. We will explore a variety of habitats looking for summer residents and adapt our route based on conditions and what is being seen in the park.

DIRECTIONS     We will meet at the Visitors Center

INFORMATION     Please bring your binoculars and bug spray. If you need binoculars, email Greg before the trip, and he will bring an extra pair for you.

REGISTRATION     None

DIFFICULTY     We will stay on the paved trails.
